Hyderabad: Arrest Of Accused In Job Fraud

Hyderabad, July 9 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police arrested one accused person by the name of Nishanth Kumar Rai, Age:  31 yrs, Occ: Proprietor of Orpiz Web Technologies Pvt Ltd, R/o Sashi Garden, Mayur Vihar, East Delhi – 110091, who is cheating the innocent people on the pretext of providing job at Arab countries.

Complaint received from victim R/o Koti, Hyderabad stating that the Cyber fraudsters cheated him on the pretext of providing a job at Jazan University, Saudi Arabia, and made him transfer an amount of about Rs. 4.71 lakhs to the bank accounts provided by the accused. In this regard, the Cyber Crime police, in Hyderabad registered a case in Cr. No.708/2024 U/sec 66(C), (D) ITA Act-2008 and 419, 420 IPC and investigated into.

According to D. Kavitha, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad said 

Accused person hatched a plan to cheat innocent job seekers on the pretext of providing jobs in Arab countries by running a call center. According to the accused Nishanth Rai opened a call centre at sector 2, Noida, UP and hired 4 Tele callers, and also obtained fake SIM cards and bank accounts. The accused person used to get the job seekers data from Shine.com, Timejobs.com, Naukri.com websites and thereby contact the job seekers who required jobs in Arab countries and cheat the job seekers by collecting registration fee, processing fee, VISA fee, GST etc…,. Whenever the victims realized, they stopped responding to their calls.

The team was headed by Inspector of Police  N.Bose Kiran consisting of team members  P.Suresh SI, G.Govinda Rao PC 3566, B.Ravi Sankar  G.Venkatesh Ch. Rajesh Kumar i A.Ramu i N.Vamshi under the direct supervision R.G Siva Maruthi, ACP, Cyber Crime PS, Hyderabad has cracked the said case at Uttar Pradesh State (Maxim News)
