Hyderabad Baby Tests Positive as COVID Cases Rise

Hyderabad Baby | Hyderabad, December 22 (Maxim News): A 15-month-old baby girl from Hyderabad, has tested positive for COVID-19, raising concerns about a possible rise in cases.

The child, from the Agapura area in Nampally, had been suffering from a high fever and breathing difficulties for several days before being admitted to Nilofar Hospital.

Doctors at the hospital suspected COVID-19 based on her symptoms and quickly conducted a test, which confirmed their suspicions. The baby is now being treated in an isolation ward and is doing much better.

She is no longer on a ventilator but is still being closely monitored.

This case comes at a time when COVID-19 cases are increasing across India. In the past 24 hours, there have been 328 new cases reported, bringing the total number of active cases to 2,997. Tamil Nadu saw the most significant jump, with 15 new cases, while Kerala reported one death. Telangana, where Hyderabad is located, currently has 6 active cases.

Health officials are closely monitoring the situation and taking steps to prevent the spread of the virus. They are urging people to take precautions, such as wearing masks, washing their hands regularly, and maintaining social distancing. (Maxim News)
