A 70-year-old man who was driving Honda city car rammed into a tea stall on Tuesday afternoon. According to sources the owner of the tea stall suffered injuries after being hit by the car and was shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
However, the Chaderghat police reached the spot and took the senior citizen into custody, while questioning him it was revealed that he felt drowsy while driving and could not control the car and hit the tea stall.
He also agreed to compensate and help the tea stall owner, said the police. As the matter is still under investigation no case has been booked till now.
