Hyderabad: CM Breakfast Scheme Launches Today
CM Breakfast Scheme | Hyderabad, October 6 (Maxim News): In Telangana, The Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme was launched in government schools across Telangana on Friday.
The scheme aims to provide nutritious breakfast to all government school students, from Class 1 to 10, to improve their health and academic performance.

Home Minister Mahmood Ali launched the scheme in Hyderabad, along with Uppal MLA Beti Subhash Reddy and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose. Minister Harish Rao launched the program across the state, while Minister KTR inaugurated the scheme at West Maredpalli Government School and Minister Thalasani Srinivas Yadav inaugurated a government school on Dharankaram Road.
In all, 1,46,086 students of 868 government and aided schools in the Hyderabad district will benefit from the scheme. Local MLAs launched the scheme in one school in each of the 15 constituencies of Greater Hyderabad.
The scheme is expected to prevent malnutrition among children and hunger in the classroom, increase enrollment and attendance, and improve the health and growth of students. Monitoring of the scheme will be possible through a mobile app.
All 1314 schools under GHMC will be covered by the breakfast scheme. In the first phase, which was launched on October 6, 12,685 students in 21 schools under GHMC will be provided breakfast.
The CM Breakfast Scheme is a significant initiative by the Telangana government to improve the well-being of its children. It is hoped that the scheme will achieve its desired objectives and make a positive impact on the lives of millions of students across the state. (Maxim News)
