Hyderabad: Corona Out-Patient Clinics Soon in City
The Chief Secretary wanted the GHMC authorities to take up a cleanliness drive in all the Government Hospitals, Urban Health Centres and Basthi Dawakhanas. He suggested them to adequately illuminate the hospital premises and take up whitewashing etc to maintain hygienic conditions in the hospital. He asked the officials to start Covid Care Centres in all GHMC circles.
Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar directed the Zonal Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of GHMC to commence out-patient clinics at every government hospital, urban health centre and Basthi Dawakhanas in GHMC limits to treat the persons with Covid-19 symptoms under home isolation. He wanted them to hand over a home treatment kit to each patient without fail.
During a teleconference from BRKR Bhavan on Sunday, Somesh Kumar instructed the officials to constitute teams comprising municipal staff, ANM and at least two ASHA workers. These teams will visit every household in their respective area to identify people suffering from fever and other symptoms. They will hand over kits with medicines and advise the symptomatic persons accordingly. They will also follow up with the patients and monitor their health conditions.
