Hyderabad CP Sajjanar | Hyderabad, Jan. 19 (Maxim News): Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar has strongly cautioned social media influencers against misleading the public for money through online schemes.
Sajjanar issued the warning through social media, stressing that public trust should not be misused for personal gain.
Commissioner Sajjanar is known for regularly using social media to alert people about online betting and cyber frauds.
CP Sajjanar remains active on digital platforms and often posts with public safety as his main focus. This time, however, he expressed clear anger over the conduct of certain influencers promoting lucky draws and similar offers.
According to Sajjanar, cheating people under the guise of lucky draws or false promotions is unacceptable.
Sajjanar warned that exploiting followers only for financial benefit would lead to serious consequences. He also urged the public to remain cautious while responding to online advertisements and promotional content.
Hyderabad CP Sajjanar Cautions Influencers on Online Fraud
In a direct message shared on Twitter, Sajjanar said, “If people are following you with trust, then create good content. Do not loot people just for money. Remember one thing. Karma never spares anyone. It may take you somewhere and then bury you in a pit. You know in your heart that what you are doing is cheating. If you take the law lightly, you will suffer in the end.”
CP Sajjanar further advised influencers to act responsibly and respect the law. He reminded them that misleading promotions can attract legal action.
At the same time, he appealed to citizens to stay alert and verify claims before participating in online offers.
Meanwhile, cyber crimes and online fraud cases continue to rise, especially among youth. Therefore, police officials have been focusing on awareness campaigns through digital platforms.
Sajjanar’s warning is part of these broader efforts to curb cyber scams and protect citizens.
