Hyderabad: ‘Ek Shaam Charminar ke Naam’ to be held tomorrow

Hyderabad, Oct. 30 (Maxim News): Following a tremendous response to the first ‘Ek Shaam Charminar Ke Naam’ event at Charminar with public present in huge numbers at the venue, GHMC and QQSUDA will be back with another similar entertaining evening at Charminar coming Sunday i.e. 31st Oct, 2021. This event on similar lines with Sunday-Funday organized at Tank Bund saw thousands of citizens enjoying a fun-filled evening at Charminar with their family and friends.

Like last time, ‘Ek Shaam Charminar ke Naam’ will have a plethora of activities to engage the visitors and make it an evening well spent. From band performance to sufi night, games for kids to clowns and jugglers, caricaturists to temporary tattoo artists, matka chai to delicious Old City delicacies and lastly handicrafts to artificial jewelry will all be present at the same place.

After mesmerizing the crowd with their tunes last time, the Telangana State Police Band will be back this Sunday to set the evening alight with their instrumental music. This will be followed by a Sufi/Ghazal performance to set the mood for the evening. These performances will be planned in a manner that there is no music or disturbance during azaan, namaz and pooja timings.

Free sapling distribution which saw many takers last time will again be set up by the department for all visitors.

Food stalls were a massive hit last time and this time too, all those stalls – non-veg delicacies, chaat and snacks, ice cream and desserts will be back. For the shopping lovers, handicrafts, artificial jewelry, bangles, etc will be present. Caricature artists, face painters, temporary tattoo artists, magicians, etc were all big hits with the public and will be back this time too.

Mobile Toilets will be set up at various locations for the convenience of public. Necessary parking arrangements have been made for all the visitors. Free Parking will be available at the following locations:

AU Hospital, Charminar

With entertainment and activities planned for people of all age groups, this well-rounded event is sure to enthrall all the visitors.
