Hyderabad El Nino Awareness Drive | Hyderabad, Nov. 3: Schools, colleges and hostels across Hyderabad district will be covered under an El Nino awareness campaign. The initiative will promote water and electricity conservation.
Hyderabad District Collector Priyanka Ala announced the campaign. Telangana Samskruthika Sarathi (TSS) cultural troupes will conduct awareness programmes across all mandals.
The campaign will also cover government offices, residential neighbourhoods and major public junctions. Cultural troupe members will organise programmes to educate residents about the El Nino weather phenomenon.

Speaking after an awareness session conducted by TSS members for district officials, Priyanka Ala urged residents to use water and electricity judiciously.
She said conserving water was a social responsibility. She appealed to people to avoid wastage and use essential resources only as much as necessary.
