Hyderabad Liberation Day: KTR Counter to Amit Shah
Hyderabad Liberation Day | Hyderabad, March 27 (Maximum News): The Working President of the BRS party and Minister holding multiple portfolios K. Tarak Rama Rao has claimed that the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao government has celebrated the National integration Day.
It may be recalled that as the KCR government after the formation of the Telangana state not celebrated the Hyderabad Liberation Day officially, as the Central government last year it has announced and celebrated the Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17, then only the KCR government came out and announced to counter the Central government of celebrating the same in the name of “National Integration Day“.
However, the KCR government has not participated in the Central government programme held at Secunderabad Parade Ground on this Hyderabad Liberation Day celebration.
Countering the Union Home Minister Amit Shah charge over the Telangana Government not celebrating September 17 as Liberation Day, the ruling BRS claimed that the State government had officially celebrated the day as National Integration Day.
Hyderabad Liberation Day
It is to mention here that Union Home Minister Amit Shah at a programme in Bidar, Karnataka on Sunday had said that the Telangana government was not celebrating Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17.
He even alleged that the State government had failed in remembering the sacrifices of people, who fought against the Nizam’s rule.
KTR slammed the Union Home Minister for his false statements, sharing news clippings for the Union Home Minister’s reference.
He tweeted, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah ji, 17th September has been celebrated by Telangana government officially as national Integration day since Hyderabad state was integrated into Indian Union on the same day in 1948.
Your blatant misrepresentation is indeed unbecoming of the stature of a Union Home Minister. (Maxim News)
