Hyderabad Mayor Visits Old City Ahead of Monsoon
Hyderabad, June 14 (Maxim News): Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi inspected the open drains desiltation and other ongoing sanitation works in Charminar Zone along with MLAs, Zonal Commissioner and other GHMC officials.

The mayor, who first went to the Mir Alam Tank with local corporator Mohammed Mubeen, observed that the horse hoof was unattended for a long time and she ordered it to be removed from time to time. The mayor directed zonal commissioner Ashok Samrat to build flakes so that all the rubbish there would not fall out.
The mayor also visited Rajendernagar along with MLA Prakash Gowd and local corporator Srinivas Reddy and she directed officials to strengthen the output of sanitation works by quickly completing the works in Monsoon and she ordered garbage removal from open drains and roads on time as there is a high chance of raising stink.
Mayor Vijayalakshmi went to Bandlaguda and suggested that steps be taken to beautify the open drains and set up a walking track to expedite the work there.
Local corporator Tara Bhai and Rahman were present when the mayor visited the Falaknuma Bridge works and suggested that the Nala works there should be completed as soon as possible.
Later Mayor Vijayalaxmi, On inspecting the Owaisi hospital flyover works, expressed dissatisfaction with the delay in the works. Then she directed Chief Engineer Suresh to take immediate action to complete the works as soon as possible.
Then the Mayor visited Dabeerpura Nala along with Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi, MLC and MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri and local corporator Hussain Khan and appreciated the beautification works done in the area also she has ordered the officials to complete the pending fencing works. (Maxim News)
