Hyderabad, Aug 11 (Maxim News): Preparations for the Hyderabad Milad 2026 procession gained momentum on Tuesday as AIMIM legislators and Central Milad Procession Committee members met senior civic and police officials.
The delegation met GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, and submitted a detailed representation on arrangements for the Hyderabad Milad 2026 procession. The committee also met Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, seeking permission and adequate security arrangements.
The historic Central Milad Procession will be held on the occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. The procession will begin from Makkah Masjid in Hyderabad.
The delegation highlighted several civic requirements. These included sanitation, decorations, welcome stages and other arrangements along the procession route.
Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala and Karwan MLA Kausar Mohiuddin joined the delegation during the meeting with the GHMC Commissioner.
Central Milad Procession Committee President Maulana Syed Ghulam Ghouse Shaikhan Ahmed Qadri Shattari Kamil Pasha also attended. Joint Secretary Maolana Syed Saifullah Hussaini Qadri Al-Baqri Saif Pasha was present as well.
Joint Convener Maolana Syed Ahmed Al-Hussaini Saeed Qadri, Publicity Secretary Moulana Dr. Khwaja Shujauddin Ifteqari Haqqani Pasha and committee member Moulana Sheikh Fareeduddin Zahid Chishti also participated.
Meanwhile, the committee submitted its memorandum to Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar. The delegation sought effective police arrangements for the Hyderabad Milad 2026 procession.
The Police Commissioner assured the committee that the department would make necessary security arrangements. He also said officials would work to ensure the peaceful conduct of the procession.
Furthermore, Sajjanar said a meeting with Hyderabad City Police officials would finalise the arrangements. The coordination will cover security deployment and other operational requirements.
The GHMC Commissioner also assured the delegation that concerned officials would receive directions. He said the civic body would take necessary steps regarding the requirements raised by the committee.
The upcoming procession is expected to require coordination between civic authorities, police personnel and organisers. Therefore, officials will need to address sanitation, traffic movement, public safety and route management before the event.
The meetings mark an early coordination effort for the Hyderabad Milad 2026 procession. Further arrangements are expected to be finalised through discussions between the committee and government agencies. (Maxim News)
