This initiative, spearheaded by Hyderabad Police Commissioner Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, equips officers with critical life-saving skills through a one-day Emergency First Responder Program designed by EMRI GVK.

The program focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to act effectively in emergencies.  Officers receive comprehensive training in scene safety, personal protection, and activating emergency response systems. Additionally, they learn essential life-saving techniques such as CPR, rescue breaths, and first aid for various emergencies, including medical incidents, trauma, and environmental hazards.

This program strengthens the “chain of survival” within the community. By equipping officers with first responder skills, the Hyderabad Police can provide crucial intervention during emergencies, potentially saving lives. Upon successful completion of the program, participants receive a nationally recognized certificate, validating their status as Certified First Responders for one year.

The HCSC extends its gratitude to Rajasekhar Reddy, Joint Secretary, Traffic Forum, for his instrumental role in driving this initiative forward. Dr. Satish of EMRI GVK for his expertise in conducting the training program.
CII Young Indians for their partnership with HCSC in raising awareness about basic life support training and encouraging citizens to become Good Samaritans.

This collaborative effort between the HCSC, EMRI GVK, CII Young Indians, and the Hyderabad Police demonstrates a strong commitment to building a safer and more resilient community. (Maxim News)
