Hyderabad Police Reshuffles Inspectors
Hyderabad Police | Hyderabad, Oct. 5: The Hyderabad City Police Department has issued transfer and posting orders for five Inspectors of Police with immediate effect.
The decision was taken during the Police Establishment Board meeting held on October 4, 2025, at the Commissioner’s office.
According to the official order, the reshuffle was made on administrative grounds to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen policing across critical zones of the city.
Hyderabad Police Transfers Ordered:
As per the order, Inspector Vara Prasad Maddikunta, currently serving with SB Hyderabad, has been transferred to the South West Zone PCR.
Inspector Venkateshwar Reddy Karnati, who was working as SHO Jubilee Hills Police Station, has been posted to the Task Force West Zone.
Inspector J. Rajashekar, presently serving as DI Karkhana Police Station, will now take charge of SHO Traffic PS Goshamahal.
Inspector Saidulu Konni has been transferred from SHO Traffic PS Goshamahal to SHO Jubilee Hills Police Station.
Meanwhile, Inspector Yadendar Cheerla from Task Force West Zone has been posted to SB Hyderabad.
Officers Directed to Take Immediate Charge
The order, issued by the VC Sajjanar Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, directed all concerned officers to relieve the transferred Inspectors immediately and ensure they report to their new postings without delay.
The reshuffle is seen as part of routine administrative measures aimed at maintaining balanced manpower distribution and improving policing standards across Hyderabad.
With the festive season and public events ahead, senior officers are reportedly ensuring that all stations remain well-coordinated for public safety and law enforcement efficiency.
