Hyderabad Police Warn Raja Singh Over Disregarding Security Arrangements

Hyderabad, June 2 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Police have yet again issued a formal notice to BJP MLA T.Raja Singh, warning him against disregarding government – assigned security arrangements including a bullet proof car and gunmen, especially while visiting highly sensitive areas.

The notice was issued by Mangalhat Police to Raja Singh who currently serves as an MLA from Goshamahal Assembly constituency, emphasizing that it was the responsibility of the MLA to cooperate in order to maintain law and order.

“Once again, you are requested to protect yourself by using a bulletproof vehicle3 and inevitably utilize the (1+4) security personnel allotted by the government,” the notice stated.

The police further stated in the notice that it was found that Raja Singh, had been moving without his designated bulletproof vehicle or security personnel (1+4), despite being a target of frequent threatening calls from unidentified persons during the recent times.

“It is to once again alert that you have been receiving frequent threatening calls and it is noticed that you are often leaving the residence and office without any security personnel and moving highly communal sensitive areas, which shows negligence towards your life and safety,” the notice read.

According to the police, Raja Singh had recently visited areas including Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar, Engine Bowli, Baba Nagar, Bahadurpura, Santosh Nagar, yakutpura, Golkonda and Jirra without proper security measures provided by the government. These localities have been identified as “highly communal-sensitive” by security agencies, they added. (Maxim News)
