Hyderabad, Dec 9 (Maxim News) | The YSRTP President Y.S Sharmila has been arrested by the Telangana Police when she was moving towards Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Statue at Tank Bund to protest against the police not giving permission for her Praja Prasthanam Padayatra.
The Telangana Police immediately reached there and arrested Sharmila. In this order, there was a tense situation at the tankbund.
On this occasion, Sharmila expressed her anger that if she was protesting peacefully, she would be arrested. She said that KCR is killing democracy, she said that KCR is making the same mistakes repeatedly, She commented that this is the beginning of KCR’s downfall.
“KCR is trying his best to stop ‘padayatra’. My bus was burnt, my people were beaten up, they accused me of violence. Later they arrested me, took me to Hyderabad. Next day Court granted permission but Police isn’t allowing us” said YS Sharmila.
While continuing the protest at Lotus Pond, Sharmila lambasted the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who has killed democracy in the state. YS Sharmila announced that the hunger strike will continue till she gets the permission for the padyatra, she has given the deadline of 48 hours to Warangal Commissioner of Police to examine, Sharmila Padyatra permission, which has been ended today.
She accused the KCR of suppressing the voices of those who questioned. She said that KCR is unable to bear the response that she is getting in the padyatra, she alleged. (Maxim News)
