Hyderabad: The Home guard who attempted suicide died today

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, Ravinder, a home guard in Hyderabad who previously attempted suicide, has tragically passed away while receiving treatment at Apollo DRDO Hospital in Kanchanbagh.

Despite the dedicated efforts of medical professionals, including the use of a ventilator and extensive treatment for severe burns covering 70% of his body, Ravinder’s condition deteriorated, leading to his untimely demise. His remains have been moved to Osmania Mortuary. In response to this tragic situation, local authorities have heightened security measures at the DRDO hospital to maintain order and safety.

This heart-wrenching incident unfolded when Ravinder, driven to despair by a delayed bank EMI payment resulting from the delayed receipt of his salary, resorted to self-immolation in front of authorities. This devastating event occurred at the Shainayatganj police station on Tuesday.

Following the incident, Ravinder was swiftly transported to Osmania Hospital, and as his condition worsened, he was transferred to Apollo DRDO Hospital.
