Hyderabad: Around 30 passengers had a narrow escape after a private sleeper bus veered off the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway near Borralagudem Stage in Choutuppal mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district in the early hours of Sunday.
The Prem Travels sleeper bus was travelling from Hyderabad towards Vijayawada when the driver reportedly lost control. The bus then veered off the highway and plunged into roadside bushes.
Driver Suspected of Dozing Off at Wheel
All passengers escaped without injuries, although the bus was damaged in the accident.
Police reached the spot soon after the incident and began an investigation. Preliminary information suggested that the driver may have dozed off while driving, possibly causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
