HYDRA Cracks Down on Encroachment at Gangaram Peddacheruvu

Hyderabad, March 20 (Maxim News): HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath inspected Gangaram Peddacheruvu in Chandanagar following a complaint from MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, alleging that 5 acres of the pond had been encroached upon.

In response, Commissioner Ranganath directed officials to submit a report on the encroachments and assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible.

“Encroachment Will Not Be Tolerated”

Ranganath emphasized that pond encroachments are a major cause of drainage and traffic issues in the city. He warned that no one involved in illegal encroachments would be spared and urged citizens to report encroachments without fear.

“It is everyone’s responsibility to protect water bodies. HYDRA will take strict action against those who violate these rules,” he stated.

Authorities are now investigating the extent of the encroachment and will take further action based on the report. (Maxim News)
