HYDRA Demolished Encroachments In Madhapur

Hyderabad, Aug 21 (Maxim News): HYDRA has demolished the structures encroaching on parks and roads in Jubilee Enclave in Madhapur area of Serilingampally Mandal of Rangareddy district. In this layout, which was approved with about 100 plots in 22.20 acres, 4 parks and 2 were encroached (about 8500 yards). Also, 5 thousand yards of road were encroached. In addition to these, HYDRA also removed a hotel shed that was illegally erected on 300 yards of government land. In this way HYDRA saved a total of 16000 yards of land. Its value is about Rs. 400 crores. This layout, which was approved in 19905, was also regularized by the government in 2006.

Representatives of Jubilee Enclave Layout have complained to HYDRA prajavani that a person named Jai Hind Reddy has encroached on the parks that were gifted to GHMC under this layout. HYDRA officials, who investigated the matter at the field level, confirmed that the encroachments are real.

They were removed on Thursday as per the orders of HYDRA Commissioner AV Ranganath. immediately, boards were also put up indicating that HYDRA had secured the park land. Fencing was installed around the parks and government land. HYDRA officials said that police cases are being filed against those involved in the encroachments.

Representatives of jubilee Enclave have stated in their complaint that Jai Hind Reddy has built a hotel without permission and is collecting rent from it by encroaching on about 300 years of government land adjacent to the Kondapur road from Hitech City and opposite the Metal Charminar.

They said that he has also put up a huge advertisement hoarding on the same land and is earning an income of up to Rs. Rs. 4 lakh per month from both. They recalled that GHMC had also issued notices in the past against the construction of a hotel on government land and collecting rent.

They lamented that the layout, which was regularized in 2006, could be cancelled later without the knowledge of the plot owners there. Enclave representatives complained in HYDRA Prajavani that if the ULC land belongs to the government, how will Jai Hind Reddy’s be in the meantime.
