Hyderabad, Oct 4 (Maxim News) Demolition by HYDRA officials continues in Hyderabad. HYDRA officials are cracking down on illegal structures in a row. Today (Saturday) HYDRA officials carried out demolitions in Kondapur.
Illegal structures are being demolished in Bikshapati Nagar in Kondapur. HYDRA personnel are removing illegal structures on government land. The demolitions were carried out amidst heavy police security. The police are not allowing the media to approach the demolitions. The police are stopping the media and locals within two kilometers.
Meanwhile.. HYDRA has removed encroachments on government land in Kondapur. HYDRA has saved 36 acres of government land worth about Rs. 720 crore. There is 36 acres of government land in Survey No. – 59 near the Kondapur RTA office in Serilingampally mandal of Rangareddy district. HYDRA officials said that some people have encroached on this land. However, the Rangareddy court had previously ruled in favor of the farmers.
The government challenged the Rangareddy court verdict in the Telangana High Court. The High Court ruled in favor of the government. The High Court ruled that the 36 acres of land belonged to the government. HYDRA officials said that they had taken up the removal of encroachments on Saturday as per the High Court verdict. HYDRA officials stated that they had set up temporary sheds and evacuated those who were doing business there. (Maxim News)
