HYDRA Focused On Himayat Sagar

Hyderabad, Nov 4 (Maxim News): HYDRA which entered the field to stop the encroachment of ponds in Hyderabad, has now focused on Himayat Sagar. Intensified efforts to demarcate the buffer zone.

In this connection, HYDRA has decided to conduct a survey based on the records of the National Remote Sensing Agency and Survey of India. Preparations are being made to study the condition of Himayat Sagar from 2010 to 2024.

HYDRA is preparing operations to focus on Osman Sagar as soon as the Himayat Sagar survey is completed. In the second phase, HYDRA, which will survey 549 ponds under the Outer Ring Road has issued a preliminary notification to 411 ponds to identify the buffer zone. It is reported that a plan is being prepared for the geo-tagging of each pond.  (Maxim News)
