HYDRA Is Not A Part Of GHMC: Separate Wing: Ranganath
Hyderabad, Nov 22 (Maxim News): HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath concluded that HYDRA is not a part of GHMC. He explained that till now it was part of GHMC there were IASs and Commissioners, but now it has been formed as a separate wing. He said that HYDRA is working not only in GHMC but also in 27 other surrounding municipalities.

The India Meteorological Department has completed 150 years. On this occasion, a stakeholder meeting was held at Telangana Weather and Climate Services.
A one-day workshop was organized at Nizamia Observatory Cess Auditorium, Begumpet Green Lands. These remarks were made by HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath who was the chief guest at the event.
He said that HYDRA will work with IMD. Ranganath reminded us that IMD was formed in 1875 and HYDRA was formed in July 2024.

He said that the government had set up HYDRA to prevent urban disasters and encroachments. He said that he was happy to be the first Commissioner of HYDRA and that HYDRA was formed for the first time in the country. (Maxim News)
