HYDRAA | Pocharam / Hyderabad, January 25: HYDRAA has undertaken demolitions in Narapally Divya Nagar, Pocharam Municipality, Medchal Malkajgiri district.

The officials demolished the retaining walls built across the road in the layouts.

On the 12th of this month, HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath inspected the Divyanagar layouts based on the complaint of locals. He inquired about the construction of illegal structures.

Colonies now benefiting from improved connectivity, thanks to the demolition, include: Ekashila Layout, Venkatadri Township, Suprabhat Venture-1, Maheshwari Colony, Kachchavani Singaram, Ekashila-Peerzadiguda Road, Balajinagar, Suprabhat Venture-4, VGH Colony, Pratap Singaram Road, Suprabhat Venture-2 & 3, Saipriya, Medipalli, Parvathapuram, Chennareddy Colony, Hills View Colony, and Muttelliguda, says hydraa officials.

The Divyanagar Layout, located in Pocharam Municipality, covers approximately 200 acres, with a total of 2218 plots. Locals claim that around 30% of these plots are owned by Nalla Mallareddy.

The officials conducted a survey and found that the retaining walls were built on government land. The latest demolitions were undertaken on Saturday.
