- Commissioner AV Ranganath orders action after complaints
Hyderabad, March 26: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency officials cleared encroachments in a venture at Pati Ghanpur village in Patancheru mandal on Thursday. The action followed complaints from plot owners who approached the agency during a grievance day.
The issue came to light when plot owners met HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath at his office. They raised concerns about alleged encroachments in the venture. Meanwhile, the Commissioner responded quickly and visited the area on Wednesday. He then interacted with revenue and other department officials to verify the claims.
After reviewing the situation, AV Ranganath found the complaints to be genuine. Therefore, he directed officials to take immediate action. On Thursday, a HYDRAA team visited Pati Ghanpur and removed the encroachments. The operation restored the land to its original status, according to the officials involved in the drive.
The venture in question was developed a few years ago. Several individuals had purchased plots there. However, the situation changed recently when some persons reportedly began encroaching on the land. Officials said these individuals possessed fake documents, which led to the dispute.
Meanwhile, the plot owners expressed relief and satisfaction over the swift response by HYDRA. They welcomed the prompt action taken by the Commissioner and his team. The incident highlights the agency’s role in addressing land-related grievances and protecting property rights in the region.
