I am confident BJP will not leave me: MLA Raja Singh

Hyderabad, August 24: Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh, who was suspended from the BJP on Tuesday for making adverse remarks against Prophet Muhammad in a video uploaded on YouTube, said on Wednesday that he will give reply to the show cause notice served to him. He expressed optimism of BJP high command will satisfy with his explanation.

“I have faith in Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay. Also, I am confident that the BJP will not leave me,” he said and clarified that he did not make any insulting remarks in the video against a particular religion. The MLA stated that he cannot talk more on the issue because of court directions. He was released by police after court denied remand.

“I will face cases registered against me in other police stations legally,” he mentioned. However, Raja Singh reposing faith in Bandi Sanjay to withdraw suspension gave rise to speculation in political circles.
