“I Don’t Care About Insults, Will Work For People”: Guv

Hyderabad, Sept 30 (Maxim News): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundara Rajan said “I don’t care about any insults, I will work for the people“. This comment has come from the Governor obviously keeping in view that the ruling KCR government leaders are insulting the Governor whenever she discharges her duties as per the Constitution and as per the law.

The Governor has organized a vote of thanks at Raj Bhavan today, thanking the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for passing the Women’s Reservation Bill giving 33 percent reservation to women in Parliament and State Assemblies.  This demand for women has been pending for the last 3 decades.

The governor said that she was once the BJP leader, and now I am a Governor. She stayed away from the medical profession because of her love for politics. Male dominance is more in politics. When I became Governor, there was not a single woman minister, obviously referring to that in the term of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government, there was not a single woman as minister. After she became Governor two women became Ministers, there are those who throw flowers at me, there are those who throw stones at me.  If they throw stones at me, they will destroy the building. If they put pins on me, they will write my history book with the blood that comes out of those pins. Not everyone wants to please everyone. Even if flowers are thrown on me, stones are thrown on me, I will be invited because have the power to do good deeds, she said.  (Maxim News)
