I will commit suicide if Dalitha Bandhu scheme stopped: Motkupally
Hyderabad, Aug.29 (Maxim News): Former Minister Motkupally Narasimhulu today said that he would commit suicide by hanging himself on Yadagiri Gutta hillock if the Dalitha Bandhu scheme launched by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was not implemented completely in Telangana.
Speaking to media persons, he reminded the promise made by the CM that he would implement the scheme in a cent percent manner and added that he saw honesty in the statement of the CM. Narasimhulu said that he was confident that the CM would fulfil his promise and added that he would commit suicide if the CM failed to do so.
Targeting TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy, he claimed that it was Revanth who had destroyed Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Telangana. He also claimed that Revanth was responsible for crushing the TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Telangana. He alleged that the entire life of Revanth was filled with blackmailing, frauds and cheating acts. He said that Revanth Reddy had used RTI act completely. He asked the Congress and the BJP as to why they were obstructing the Dalita Bandhu scheme.
Narasimhulu said that the Dalits were leading an emotionally shocked life after experiencing caste discrimination. He also said that it was difficult for the Dalits to lead their lives. Reminding that the Dalits used to walk in some villages by carrying their foot wear and piece of cloth in their hands, he said that such discrimination was still going on in some of the villages of the state.
He praised that Chief Minister KCR led State government was doing a lot for welfare of the Dalits of the state like no other state government of the country. He alleged that none of the CMs of the congress party did anything for the development of the Dalits . He claimed that the Dalits were still being considered as slaves in the state. Referring to his anti- KCR stance of the past, he made it clear that he would support any leader who does a good act. He called upon the Dalits of the state to extend their support to the CM and make the Dalita bandhu scheme a grand success. (Maxim News)
