Illegal Travel Agents Arrested in Hyderabad
- Two Illegal Travel Agents Arrested And Seized (5) Indian National Passports, (3) Cell Phones, Net Cash Of Rs.3,800/- From Their Possession
Hyderabad, April 16 (Maxim News): On the intervening night of April 15/16 the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task force, Central Zone Team, Hyderabad, on credible information conducted raid on Room No.150 of Hotel Vishnu at Lakdikapul, Hyderabad and apprehended two illegal travel agents namely Gamluri Amanullah and Mahmood Khan and Seized (5) Indian National Passports, (3) Cell Phones, net cash of Rs.3,800/- from their possession.
Gamluri Amanullah Native of Cuddapah District A.P is a carpenter and not getting sufficient income to meet his family expenses, he had experience visiting in Arab countries. Then he along with Gundala Mohammed Ghouse hatched a plan to send Man Power illegally to the Gulf countries with the help of sub-agents in Hyderabad and other places of Telangana and A.P States by giving commission to them and trapping innocent and illiterate victims through known and unknown agents by giving false promises of providing cleaning, labour jobs at Saudi Arabia and Dubai Countries for which they demands Rs.85,000/- to Rs.1,00,000/- from each candidate.
Modus Operandi:
First they will attract unemployed, especially who hails from rural areas and who intent to work in Gulf countries through known/unknown agents. They will assure the unemployed youth that they will provide employment such as cleaning, watchman, carpenter, maidservant, etc., with handsome salaries. They used to come in Hyderabad and stay in Hotel Vishnu at Lakdikapool, Hyderabad and call the candidates to Hyderabad, collect money and original Indian passports from them. Thereafter they will provide Visit/Tourist Visa and Air-ticket with the help of one Mahboob Shareef who hails from Cuddapah Dist and send them to Arab countries.
On a tip of information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone team raided at Room No.150 in Hotel Vishnu, Saifabad Hyderabad on 15-4-2018 and apprehended Gamluri Amanullah of Cuddapah Dist and Mohaboob Khan who is sub-agent and seized (5) Indian National Passports (3) Cell Phones and cash of Rs.3800/- from their possession. So far as, the above accused persons cheated to so many unemployed with a promise to provide employment in Gulf countries and cheated them.
Name of the accused persons:-
1. Gamluri Amanullah s/o Gamluri Mahabu aged 27 years Occ:Carpenter-Travel Agent r/o Vishnu Lodge, Lakdikapul Hyderabad Native of Errapally (V) Duvur (M) Cuddapah District of Andhra Pradesh.
2. Mohaboob Khan s/o Ahmed Khan aged 50 years, R/o Near Gandhi Statue, Fatehdarwaza, Hyderabad
Absconding Accused
1. Gundala Mohammed Ghouse S/o Khasim age about 29 years, Occ: Passport/ Visa Agent R/o Duvvuru, Cuddapah District
2. Mohaboob Shareef aged about 40 years, R/o Velavali (V), Produtoor (M), Cuddapah District
The apprehended accused along with the seized property handed over to S.H.O. Saifabad PS for further necessary action.

Please do not believe the version of any person who posses/claims himself as travel agents and make false promises of providing employment Visa of Gulf Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Kuwait, etc. Approach only registered travel agents and whose names are available on website of Ministry of External Affairs, Protector of Emigrant, Govt of India. You may please inform the same to police for taking stringent action against such cheaters/deceivers. The names of the people providing information about the cheaters will be kept in confidential.
The raid was made under the supervision of P. Radha Kishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force by Sayini Srinivas Rao, Inspector of Police, Central Zone Task Force team, SI’s G.Thimmappa & B. Kantha Reddy along with the staff of Central Zone Team, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad, a communiqué said here today.
