Implement Minority Bandhu Scheme on Lines for All: Congress to Govt
Hyderabad, Aug.14 (Maxim News): Congress party today demanded the State government to implement Minority Bandhu scheme on the lines for all Muslims and other Minority Communities of the State on the lines of Dalit bandhu scheme. It also demanded the state government to implement 12 percent reservations to all minorities of the state.
The minority cell of the party has organized a protest demanding the state government to fulfil its demands at Indra park in the city. TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy, former PCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC publicity Committee Chairman Madhu Yaski , TPCC working president M. Anjan Kumar Yadav , MLA T. Jayaprakash reddy, former Ministers J. Geeta Reddy G. Chinna Reddy and Mohammad Ali Shabbir and other party leaders took part in the protest program.
Speaking on the occasion, former PCC president and MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the minorities of the state were cheated by CM KCR . He said that the promise of the CM to provide 12 percent reservations was not implemented in the state even after making the statement on the floor of the house that he had spoken to the Prime Minister of the Country Narendra Modi on the issue and secured a promise for its implementation . He urged the
Muslims of the state to not believe CM KCR and alleged that the ruling TRS party and BJP had a secret pact between them. He made it clear that the congress party was committed for the development of the minorities of the state. He said that the minorities of the country were reeling Under fear under the rule of PM Modi.
