Increase Medical Care Infrastructure to Tackle 3rd Wave: Cabinet

Hyderabad, Sept.16 (Maxim News): Cabinet of Telangana today decided to increase medical care infrastructure to tackle the third wave. and discussed farm sector issues.

The cabinet took a call to increase oxygen production in the state to meet future demands. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who chaired the meeting directed the health officials for a report with details on health facilities. Keeping future needs, third wave the plan should be prepared, KCR said in the cabinet.

The Cabinet directed the officials to take immediate measures to produce 550 mt oxygen. The state produced 280 mt oxygen which was earlier 150 mt.

The CM said that the state is ready to tackle the possible third wave as the second wave is under control in the state. The officials set up 5200 beds, medicines, jabs and increased facilities by spending Rs 133 cr.

The Cabinet appointed two sub committees on Podu lands and on new police stations and related issues. While Tribal welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod to head the podu lands sub-committee with Jagadish Reddy, Indrakarn Reddy and Ajay Kumar as members.

Home Minister Mahamood Ali will head another sub- committee on police stations and issues with Harish Rao, Jagadish Reddy Prashanth Reddy Srinivas Goud, Indrakaran Reddy, Ajay Kumar, Koppula Eshwar, and Sabitha Indra Reddy as members. (Maxim News)
