India Checks Pakistan Provocation

This is the first incident of ceasefire violation this year. However, Pakistan has been engaging in various provocations in the last few days. On the intervening night of February 4-5, some infiltrators tried to enter Indian territory, and the Indian Army opened fire on them.
Seven people were killed in the incident, some of whom were reportedly Pakistani security personnel. On February 8, a soldier was injured in the firing by terrorists in the Rajouri sector. (Maxim News)
