India crosses 10,000 corona cases, toll reached 339

Hyderabad: The total number of coronavirus positive cases have crossed 10,000 mark in India and the death toll has touched 339.

In the last 24 hours, 1,211 confirmed cases have been reported all over the country and 1,035 have been recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged from the hospitals.

The Central government announced that 8,988 are active cases.

As there is a spike in the corona positive cases, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended lockdown till May 3.

The highest number of positive cases have been reported in Maharashtra, Delhi and Tamil Nadu.
