Relations between Russia and India have improved a lot in recent times. This friendship was further strengthened at the recent SCO meeting held in China. With this, the defense relations between India and Russia will be further strengthened.
Russia will manufacture Sukhoi fighter jets in india. Russia’s fifth generation fighter jets Sukhoi will now be manufactured in india. These will be used by Russia and India in their army. It is said that these are similar to the American F-35 jet fighters. The Indian army already has F-35 fighter jets. It is said that Russian Sukhoi jets also joined them.
According to a report, Russia has started research to manufacture fighter jets in India. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has already licensed the Russian-origin Su-30 MK1 fighter jets at its Nashik plant. Now, the Su-57 can also be used.
Currently, Tejas fighter jets including Mk-1 and Mk-2 are being manufactured in India. The Mk-1 is equipped with an electronic warfare system with modern weapons. The Mk-2 is a multi role fighter jet. It is the next version of the Mk-1. Now it seems that along with all this, the Su-57 will also be manufactured in India soon.
It is said that it is very important to strengthen relations between Russia and India as the trade war with the US continues. It is being analyzed that trade and defence relations with Russia will help in confronting the US. Although the latest agreements are likely to anger the US President more with India. If we keep in mind the long-term interests, it is better for India to improve its relations with other countries instead of relying on the US alone. (Maxim News)
