Indrakaran Reddy attends Run for Peace

Hyderabad, Oct.2 (Maxim News): Forest and environment minister A Indrakaran Reddy today participated and started “Run for Peace” 10 K Run at the Necklace Road in the city. Huge number of youth, students and old alike attended the program.

This event was organised to mark the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi at Botanical gardens. Both botanical gardens and walkers club conducted the events of 10K, 5K and 2 K Runs as a large number of people participated in the event. People seen participated with enthusiasm and energy by sporting green, and orange colour T Shirts.

Speaking on the occasion the Minister appreciated a Botanical gardens and walkers club for the grand event. We have to appreciate the organisers for this run for peace and fitness to remain health he said. The young generation and youth and students and old alike attended the program and made it a grand success, the Minister stated.

Indrakaran Reddy also said that the government is taking all measures for green drive to increase green cover. Haritha Haram program has given good results in all districts of Telangana state he claimed.

We are responsible for developing a green state by participating in green drive, he said. (Maxim News)
