Infant’s Body Found in Hospital Canteen Dustbin in Zaheerabad

Zaheerabad/Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News): In a deeply disturbing incident, the body of a newborn male infant was discovered in a dustbin inside the canteen of the Area Hospital in Zaheerabad on Saturday, sending shockwaves through the community.

Hospital staff reportedly found the infant’s body during routine cleaning and immediately alerted authorities. Unidentified individuals are suspected to have dumped the body, possibly under the cover of the hospital’s daily bustle.

Police Begin Investigation, CCTV Footage Under Review

Police teams reached the spot swiftly and have begun reviewing CCTV footage from in and around the hospital premises in an attempt to identify the culprits. According to preliminary information, investigators believe the child may have died shortly after birth, and the parents might have abandoned the body, possibly due to financial constraints or fear of social stigma.

Case Registered, Public Urged to Share Information

A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing. Authorities have appealed to the public to come forward with any information that may assist in identifying those responsible.

Officials have also highlighted the importance of counseling and support systems for new mothers, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, to prevent such tragic incidents.
