Inter Hostel Sports and Cultural Activities concluded at MANUU

Hyderabad, May 22: A week long Annual Inter Hostel Sports and Cultural activities organized jointly by Provost Boys Hostel, Provost Girls Hostel and Directorate of Physical Education & Sports of as part of UGC’s G20 University Connect Programme concluded yesterday.

The Cricket Final match and Badminton Singles and Doubles competition were held on Sunday. Boys Hostel-2 won the Cricket Tournament. Badminton singles competition was won by BH-4 while Badminton doubles was won by BH-1. Mr. Md Seraj Khan and Mr. Shaik Naveed were the umpires for the cricket match. Mr. Zia ul Rehman and Mr. Habibullah were umpires for Badminton.

Volleyball Final was held on May 20. Boys Hostel-II won the final of Volleyball. Mr. Fazilat was umpire for volleyball. On May 19, Football Final and Table Tennis were held. Boys Hostel-2 won the final of football by defeating Boys Hostel-4. Table Tennis Final was also won by Boys Hostel-2. Mr. Muzaffar was Referee in football while Mr. Rajesh was umpire for Table Tennis. Carom Singles and Doubles both were won by Boys Hostel-2. Dr. Habibullah was umpire for Carom.

Md. Arsalan Asad was the winner in chess competition. Boys Hostel-2 team was declared as the winner in Baitbazi competition while Boys Hostel-3 won the Quiz competition. Mr Rajesh was arbiter for Chess. Dr. Md. Imtiyaz Alam, Dr. Talha Farhan, Dr. Asif Laique were judges for Baitbazi.

Prof. Shugufta Shaheen, Prof. M Abdul Azeem, Prof. Razaullha Khan, Dr. Zair Hussain, Prof. Viquar unnisa, Dr. Mahmood Kazmi, Dr. Ahmad Khan inaugurated different events and appreciated the participants.

Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed I. Patel, Provost Boys Hostel supervised the competitions. Dr. Javed Nadeem, Co-ordinated the programme.
