Razing Of Over 2000 Poor People Huts In Manukota Again

Mahabubabad/Hyderabad, May 22 (Maxim News): The authorities once again razed the huts of the poor people set up on the government land in Kuravi Road, Manukota district Centre.

The poor people have been living in the huts for some time on government land in survey No. 255/1 of Kuravi Raod, but the authorities removed them three times in three months. The police, municipal and revenue department officials reached the huts early on Sunday morning and tried to demolish them with the JCB (bulldozer).

The hut dwellers tried to stop them, from morning to afternoon there was a scuffle between the hut dwellers and the officials. After that, the authorities finally demolished more than 2 thousand huts. 38 protestors were taken into custody and taken to Mahabubabad Town Police Station. After that they did a bind over in front of the Tehsildar. (Maxim News)
