Hyderabad, Sept. 27: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are likely to receive rainfall as weather systems continue to influence conditions across the region. Meanwhile, floodwaters from the recent depression continue to affect agricultural areas, particularly in Andhra Pradesh.
The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has issued an update on the weather in both states. It said the depression over northeastern Madhya Pradesh and adjoining northern Chhattisgarh may weaken further into a well-marked low-pressure area.
Rain Forecast for AP and Telangana
Light to moderate rainfall is likely at isolated places in Telangana on Sunday and Monday. Some areas may also experience thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph. However, most places are expected to experience predominantly dry weather.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department expects daytime temperatures to rise gradually as rainfall decreases. Andhra Pradesh is also likely to receive light to moderate rainfall.
