Inter Student Hangs Self To Death In Narsingi

student | Hyderabad, Mar 1 (Maxim News): An intermediate student died by suicide at his college in Narsingi on Tuesday night. The teenager S. Swathik was pursuing an intermediate first year at a private college in Narsingi and staying in a hostel.

Around 10.30 pm, the boy allegedly hanged himself using a rope to the ceiling fan in the classroom. On noticing it, the teenager was rushed to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

The body is shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary. a case is booked.

The family members alleged Swathik ended his life due to harassment by college management. The police are investigating.

“It was due to the torture of the staff, my brother Sathvik committed suicide,” Sathvik’s brother Nitin told the media.

His father also confirmed the same and claimed that in the past he spoke to the college principal about the torture committed by their staff against Sathvik. But still, it allegedly continued.

On Tuesday late at night, Narsingi police registered a criminal case. Following the death, a few videos purportedly related to this college came to light, which showed corporal harassment.

“Due to the pressure exerted to perform in studies, he was tortured. It was due to this, he has been under depression and used to stay away,” Shanmukh, a friend of Sathvik told the media. (Maxim News)
