Intermediate Board Launches App to Locate Exam Centre

• TSBIE launches Mobile Application for students to access Exam Centres Information Online while geo tagging all the exam centers across Telangana

Hyderabad, Feb 27 (Maxim News): TSBIE has announced here another key IT initiative of launching a new mobile application to enable its’ students across the state to easily identify & access the exam centers details and get online route navigation through mobile app upon submitting their respective hall ticket numbers. All the examination centres were geo tagged to make this happen.

Currently students are not allowed to enter the exam centers even by a minute delay and in this regard, it is become important & challenging for parents and students to identify the exam centers and locate them especially in city limits and district headquarters.

In this regard, TSBIE has taken up the novel initiative to leverage the technology and geo tagged all 1291 exam centers of Telangana state to help its 10 lacs students to identify their exam centers online in an easy manner through the TSBIE center locator mobile app. The technology is powered by Google Maps and will largely benefit the students to help address their existing concerns in identifying the exam centers.

Step 2 ( Navigate): The Exam Centre Code, Student name, Centre Address is displayed and through Google Maps the distance of the Center from Student location can be accessed instantly along with the approximate time required to reach and also helps navigate the correct route to the Exam Center.
