Interstate Gang Involved In Supplying Fake Education Certificates Arrested In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): Two members of an interstate gang allegedly involved in supplying educational certificates to students were arrested by the Hyderabad police on Thursday. The police seized 91 educational certificates, Rs. 1080 in cash and a motorcycle from them.

The arrested are Abdul Qadeer (47) of Shahalibanda and Mohd Shakeel (37) of Dabeerpura, while their associate Sanjay Sharma of Kanpur in UP is absconding.

According to the police, Qadeer and Shakeel, contacted persons planning to go abroad for jobs and were in need of educational certificates. The duo collected huge amounts from them for providing the certificates and sent their details to Sanjay who prepared the certificates and sent it to Qadeer and Shakeel through courier.

“Both the persons supplied the certificates to their customers in the city. They sold several certificates to the people and earned huge money illegally,” said T.Swami, Additional DCP (South East)

On a tip off, the Task Force team led by sub-inspector Kaviuddin kept a tab on them and nabbed them at Dabeerpura while they were on their way to deliver the certificates to their clients. (Maxim News)
