According to the Defence Ministry, falling debris from drones triggered a fire at the Social Security Tower in Kuwait City. Officials said the tower caught fire after the debris struck the building during the attacks. Several people were reportedly trapped inside the structure as the fire spread. Meanwhile, firefighters rushed to the site and worked to control the flames and rescue those trapped inside.

The Kuwaiti army also issued an alert as the attacks continued. Authorities advised residents to take shelter in safe places and remain cautious. The warning came as missiles and drones continued to target areas in the country.

Meanwhile, emergency teams were also dealing with fires in other locations. The fire brigade said a blaze that broke out at fuel tanks at the country’s international airport was brought under control. Officials also confirmed that fires at several government buildings had been contained after quick action by firefighters.

The attacks on Kuwait came as the wider conflict in the region intensified. US and Israeli warplanes are currently carrying out heavy strikes on Iran. At the same time, Iran continues to launch attacks on Israel and several Gulf countries.

Meanwhile, attacks were also reported in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The situation has raised concerns about the spread of the conflict across the Gulf region. Authorities in the affected countries have remained on alert as the strikes continue.

Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga had earlier apologised for attacks on Gulf countries. However, reports said Tehran continues to launch strikes despite the apology.

On the other hand, Israel announced that its military operations are targeting Hezbollah leaders who support Iran. Israeli authorities warned residents in affected areas to evacuate immediately. The warning came as Hezbollah bases in Beirut were being targeted in ongoing strikes.

As tensions grow, the situation in the region remains volatile. The continued exchange of attacks between multiple countries has increased fears of a wider conflict in the Middle East.
