Is KCR Not Celebrating Hyderabad Liberation Day Due To Fear Of MIM? Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Sept 9 (Maxim News): Telangana State President of BJP and Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G. Kishan Reddy said that it is unfortunate that the Hyderabad Liberation Day is not celebrated officially.  He said that  BJP has been fighting for 20 years to organize these festivals officially.  He said that neither the then Congress government in power in the state nor the present BRS government is interested in organizing the festival.

Kishan Reddy said that “Hyderabad Liberation Celebrations” was officially organized under the auspices of the Central government as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” on September 17 last year.  He said Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel hoisted the tricolor flag in Telangana 75 years ago.  Last year, celebrations were held under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.  He demanded Chief Minister K.Chandra Sekhar Rao to tell why it was not held in these nine years after coming to power.  He alleged that the KCR government is not organizing the celebrations under the pressure of AIMIM due to fear.  (Maxim News)
