International Society for Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON) here will be celebrating Sri Krishnastami celebrations for three days beginning tomorrow in the premises of Lotus Temple located on Hare Rama Hare Krishna Road.
According to temple sources, the special programmes on these three days will start with Mangala Harathi in the temple. On the first day, there will be prize distribution to the winners of the Krishnastami cultural competitions while on the second day Sankhabhishekam to Radha Govinda deities wil be performed.
On the third day of the festival Abhishekam (sacred bath) to the Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON would be conducted. As Janmashtami falls August 15, the temple management made elaborate arrangements for visiting devotees and series of programmes will be observed under Srila Prabhupadas 121 birth anniversary in the name of Aavirbhava Vyasapooja (founder formation day).
