Israel’s military made its position clear. It said it will pursue and eliminate threats to its national security. The Israel Defense Forces stated that individuals posing danger to the country will remain targets. However, officials admitted they do not know Khamenei’s current location.

IDF spokesperson Effie Defrin addressed international media on the issue. He said, “We do not have information about Khamenei’s whereabouts at the moment. But we cannot stop eliminating those who are dangerous to our country. Those who work against us will not escape us. We will hunt them down and eliminate them wherever they are. However, we may not be able to say exactly when and where. But our target will not be missed.”

Iran denies reports on Khamenei movement

Meanwhile, Iran rejected reports claiming that Khamenei was injured and moved to Russia for treatment. Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali responded through the X platform. He clarified that Iranian leaders are not fleeing or hiding. He said they continue to remain among the people despite the conflict.

The exchange highlights rising hostility between the two nations. Both sides continue to issue warnings. At the same time, uncertainty remains about future developments. The lack of confirmed information about Khamenei’s location has added to speculation.
