It’s Not Telangana That Has Stopped: It’s KCR’s Family: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, April 30 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the opposition should be strong in a democracy and should not waste time making excessive criticisms without addressing public issues.

He participated in the Sri Mahatma Basaveshwara jayanthotsave program on Wednesday and made harsh comments targeting BRS and its party chief KCR.

Our government is working in the spirit of Basavanna. Basavanna was a progressive who fought against caste, religious and gender discrimination. It is with the spirit of Basaveshwara that we have brought the Panchayat Raj Parliamentary system. Governments should formulate plans so that every person can live with dignity. The system called opposition exists to point out the flaws in the decisions taken by the ruling party.

The other day, someone (referring to KCR) held a meeting in Warangal and criticized the Congress. When they organized silver jubilations and victory celebrations, the state government helped by providing buses from the RTC. If we had appreciated the good we did in the Warangal meeting and mentioned public problems there, people would have really appreciated him.

Why is he not coming to the Assembly while drawing a government salary? For all these years, he has been taking salary and allowances from his house without moving a foot. Under which law is this? As the leader of the opposition, he took Rs. 65 lakhs, vehicles and police security. And people are questioning why he slept in a farmhouse instead of working as the leader of the opposition.

What message did you want to give to the people while sleeping in a farmhouse? He said that welfare schemes have been stopped. Which of these has been stopped. rythu bandhu, Aarogyasri, free electricity, Shaadi Mubarak, kalyana Lakshmi? We have provided free bus travel facilities to women on RTC, Jobs to the unemployed, Don’t you see any of this? You yourself should know what you are intoxicated with. What do you want to do by provoking people with a stomach full of poison and making hateful speeches?

People are wise. People know what they have done. KCR has no right to question the government. We will rule for ten years in a way that people will appreciate. Let’s discuss development and welfare schemes. We are ready to discuss any issue, kaleshwaram, free buses, loan waiver, Rythu bandhu, the 60,000 jobs we have given, SC classification, caste census, tell us which of these we should discuss. KCR, we are ready to discuss.

In KCR’s words, there is poison in his eyes. How can the Congress, which gave Telangana, become a villain? You, who have stolen for ten years, have no right to criticize the Congress.
