Hyderabad, July 15 (Maxim News): Congress MLA from Sangareddy Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy alias Jagga Reddy was arrested on Monday by local police when he was going to hold Jala Deeksha in the town. The police obstructed the MLA and took him into custody. Jagga Reddy has been demanding that the State Government release Godavari waters to Sangareddy town.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagga Reddy said he would continue to agitate on the issue till the Godavari water was released to his town. He was taken to Kondapur police station after his arrest. (Maxim News)
