Nani-Buddha “Twitter War” Leaves TD Leaders Shocked

Vijayawada, July 15 (Maxim News): The ‘Twitter War‘ between Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and Buddha Venkanna of Telugu Desam party continued on Monday.

Directly referring to TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu, Nani said he was ready to resign from the party if Chandrababu didn’t want him. He also said he was ready even to resign from MP post and primary membership of the party if Chandrababu Naidu does not want people like him to continue in his party and should control his (Naidu’s) ”pet dog”, a direct reference to Buddha Venkanna. This tweet sparked off a furore in the party circles as it was a clear threat to party supremo. With this, the open rift amongst the senior leaders in the TDP in Krishna district has further aggravated.

It may be mentioned here that on Sunday Kesineni Nani made a sarcastic tweet against TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna stating that a person, who couldn’t garner four votes got four posts. He also tweeted that a person, who cannot read or write a few words was tweeting, which is most unfortunate.

In a quick rejoinder, Buddha Venkanna tweeted that what the TDP needed was someone, who would fight for the party and the party leader in the times of crises. “A person who joins forces with the Opposition parties was dangerous to the party. The party doesn’t need such opportunistic people like you, it needs someone, who could fight for Chandrababu Naidu like a soldier, who is ready even to lay down his life. (Maxim News)
