Defence Minister Arun Jaitley met Indian Air Force top brass on Wednesday, as a three-day IAF Commanders’ Conference commenced here, and promised expediting the force’s modernisation.
The Minister was updated on the IAF’s operational status and the progress in infrastructure development by IAF chief, Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa, an official statement said.
The IAF chief highlighted the efforts made to enhance aircraft serviceability so as to maintain IAF operational preparedness.
