Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Extends Support To The 69 Congress Candidates In The Elections

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (Maxim News): Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana Unit has extended support to the 69 candidates of the Congress party for the coming Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on November 30. 

Out of the total 119 candidates seats, apart from extending its support to Congress, the Jamaat-e-Islami Hindi also extended its support to the ruling BRS of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao at 41 Assembly segments, to AIMIM at 7 Assembly segments, BSP-1 and CPI (M)-1.  

The complete list of the candidates, constituencies and supporting parties was circulated to the media persons at the press conference held by the Convenor, Political Committee, Jamaat-E-Islami Hindi, Telangana along with General Secretary A.K. Mushtaq. Representative of Alliance for Democracy G. Srinivas said that its support for the upcoming state assembly elections, emphasizing a commitment to value-based politics, emphasized a commitment to value-based politics after extensive discussion across the state involving local units. Jamaat members and workers engaged in deliberations about candidates in their respective constituencies   

The jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana chapter is not aligning itself with any specific political party in these elections.  Instead, the organization extends its support to individual candidates based on recommendations from the local units

As per the list, the Jamaat will extend support to 69 candidates at achampet, alair, Andole, armur, Asifabad, Aswaraopeta, Bellampalli, Bhadrachalam, Chennur, Chappadani, Devarakonda, Devarkadra, Dharmapuri, Dornakal,Gadwal, Ghanpur Station, Huzurabad, Huzurnagar, Ibrahimpatnam, Jangaon, Jubilee Hills, Kalwakurthy, Khammam, Khanapur, Kodad, Kodangal, Kollapur, Kukatpally, Lal Bahadur nagar, madhira, Mahabubabad, Mahbubnagar, Makthal, Malkajgiri, Manakondur, Mancherial, Manthani, Medak, Miryalguda, Mulug, Munugode, Nagarjuna Sagar, Nakrekal, Nalgonda, Narsampet, Narsapur, Nizamabad urban, Paliar , Pargi, Parkal, peddapalle, Pinapaka, Ramagundam, Sathupalli, Secunderabad Cantonment, shadnagar, suryapet, Tandur, Thungathurthi, Vemulawada, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Wardhannapet, Warangal East, Warangal Est, Wyra, Yellandu, Yellareddy and Zahirabad. 

The 41 candidates where the Jamaat-e-Hind supporting to the BRS candidates are Adilabad, Alampur, Amberpet, Balkonda, Banswada, Bhongir, Bhupalpalli, Boath, Bodhan, Chevella, dubbak, Gajwel, Goshamahal, Husnabad, jadcherla, Jagtial, jukkal, Kamareddy, karimnagar, Khairatabad, Koratla, Maheshwaram, Medchal, Mudhole, Musheerabad, nagarkurnool, Narayankhed, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Nizamabad Rural, Palakurthi, Patancheru, Quthbullapur, Rajendranagar, Sanathnagar, Sangareddy, Secunderabad, Serilingampally, siddipet, sircilla, Uppal, 

The 7 candidates where the Jamaat-e-Hind supported the AIMIM candidates are Bahadurpura, Chandrayangutta, Charminar, karwan, Malakpet, Nampally and Yakutpura.  Jameet-e-Hindi is also supporting once candidates each of BSP and CPI (M)  at Sirpur and  Kothagudem, respectively.  (Maxim News)
